An invalid command was sent to the storage device

The storage device may no longer be accessible to the operating system


Situation: The client use Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R2 with 2 devices. When doing backup, they receive this message:  Storage device "IBM 0002" reported an error on a request to write data to media.
Error reported:
Incorrect function.
V-79-57344-34030 - An invalid command was sent to the storage device.
The storage device may no longer be accessible to the operating system. Review the event logs for more information.

Troubleshooting: We found those two devices were using different drivers, one is Dell device driver and another one is Symantec driver. Installing Symantec driver to replace dell driver fixes the problem.
