Situation: When attempting to run RemoteApp or Rd Web, you may receive this message: This computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Terminal Services Gateway server is temporarily unavailable.

Resolution: The error above is because your server name defaulted to a local computer name or local FQDN is different from externally or the Internet FQDN. To fix it, please follow this link: Configure Remote Desktop Gateway Settings - Step by step with ...

Alternatively, create the same Internet FQDN in your local DNS record so that the users can access RemoteApp using the same rdweb internally and externally.

Also make sure the RD gateway service is running.
