Access is denied when trying Remote Control Session in Windows 2008 R2 - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: the client is running Windows 2008 R2 as Remote Desktop Server. When attempting  to use a remote session, some user may receive this message "Access id denied".

Troubleshooting: 1. It could be the problem is the remote session has multiple monitors enabled. Please refer to this page:  Access is denied when shadowing a remote session with multiple monitors enabled - Resolution with screenshots

2. If the administrators can perform remote control but regular users get "Access Denied", it could be permission issue.

Here are the steps I took to get it working:
1.Open "Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration"
2.Double click on "RDR-Tcp" in Connections box
3.Set your remote control setting in "Remote Control" tab
4.Click "Security" tab
5.Click "Advance"
6.Double click on "Remote Desktop Users"
7.Check Allow "Remote Control" and "Messages" checkboxes
8.Click OK -> OK then Reboot

3. Open Remote desktop Session Host Configuration right click on RDP-Tcp properties and go to the Remote Control Tab and change the level of control from View to Interact exactly how it is in AD properties of the User (see below screenshot).

4. Uncheck "Require user's permission" under User remote control with the following settings. You can open the Property of Connection in Configuration for Remote Desktop Session Host Server or the Remote Control in the property of the user.
