TS session without username

Our client has a Terminal server for 30 people access from the Internet.

We have been noticing a login at the TS does not show on the "Users" tab, but shows on the "Sessions" tab as shown below:

It will appear for a minute, then disappear, then reappear with a different ID. We would like to know what this might b. Could it be a hacking attempt? I've never seen it before, but clearly someone is trying to connect. I don't know what "Connected" means...

One time, the client even a user name iPhone using ID 0 that should be console session. Right? Any ideas?
