DNS IP changed Q: I have a network that has a small business server 2003, 2 XP Pro, 1 Win2K, and a PC running vista. This has been in place for about a year and everything has been running just fine until about a week ago. Here is what’s happening: The
server has its IP addresses hard coded, Its also the DHCP server. The
internal IP Addresses are 192.168.17.x. The server is .2 and is setup as the
DNS, WINS, & DHCP for the other PC's. I have run Symantec AV, Microsoft Safety.Live.Com, and Trendmicro. none have found anything. No Virus, no spyware, nada. A: It sounds like you've possibly got a rogue router on your network. Perhaps someone brought in a wireless one from home?Related Topics The issues of two DHCP servers in the same LAN
