Wireless doesn’t work in Windows 2008 Situation: the client just installed Windows 2008 R2 on his laptop for using Hyper-V which will connect to network VLAN and SAN VLAN. However, the wireless doesn’t work even windows receive strong signal.
Also the IPCONFIG doesn’t

won’t work in windows 2008 until you install the Wireless LAN Service. To
install the Wireless LAN Service, please follow these stpes: 1) Go to Server Manager 2) Add a new feature 3) Select the
Wireless LAN Service
4) Click Next to finish the installation 5) Install your WIFI
drivers if not automatically detected. Note: Wireless is not
supported in Hyper-V and you will not see a working wireless LAN adapter as
