Hyper-V VM failed to start with "The system cannot find the file specified" - Resolution with screenshots

 

We have two VM in Windows 2008 Hyper-V. We can't start them any more. If we try, we will receive this message "failed to start", and "The system cannot find the file specified". It also mentions "Microsoft Emulated IDE Controller".

 

I found the problem. This is HP Blade server without CD\DVD. When we need CD\DVD, we connect it USB connection. If we open the VM settings and check the IDE Controller 1. The DVD drive was checked Physical CD/DVD drive: Dive "Not found" as shown below. After we checked the None, we can start the VM.
