High CPU utilization of one of Virtual machines.

Situation: The client installed a Virtual machine running Windows Server 2008 as one of domain controllers on VMware ESX 4. The DC works fine but the CPU utilization is high day and night. It uses over 50% CPU Utilization.

Troubleshooting: After studying the ser ver configuration, we find the VMware ESX is running on a Dell Poweredge server. However, the VM has some HP services running. the client told us that they migrated the DC from a HP server to VM running on Dell physical server. The resolution is disabling the HP services.
