Troubleshooting Group Policy Using Event Logs in Vista

The Group Policy operational log provides you a view of the work the Group Policy service performs before and during Group Policy processing. To view the Group Policy operational log, please follow these steps:


1. Start the Event Viewer from typing event viewer in Start Search or click Start, right click on Computer and then select Manage.
2. Click the arrow next to Applications and Services Logs.
3. Click the arrow next to Microsoft, and then Windows, and then Group Policy.
4. Click Operational.
