The network doesn't work after installing Windows Vista update

Case 1: The Vista is running OpenVPN and after installing the Windows Vista update, the network doesn't work. Doesn't matter you use DHCP and assign static IP, it doesn't show up the NIC. The fix is disable the OpenVPN TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 LAN.

Case 2: After installing the Windows Vista update, the Vista computer can't access the network. Resolution is upgrade the NIC driver.

Case 3: The client has VMware vCenter Client installed on the Vista computer.. Disabling teh VMware LAN fixes the problem.
