Cannot access remote computers via VPN because of Norton Internet Security Situation: The user is able to establish the VPN, but can’t access any network resources. Troubleshooting: 1. Make sure the both VPN server and client are in the different IP range. 2. Make sure the remote computer doesn’t have firewall to block the access. 3. The VPN client is running Norton Internet security. We are able to access the network resources after disable Norton Internet Security. Resolution: Add remote LAN’s IP addresses to the Trusted zone in NS. To do that, select Personal firewall configure. Click Home Networking. Add the remote office IP addresses in Trusted zone.
