The Group Policy client service failed sign-in

The Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) type is not support

Situation: When attempting to login a domain computer, you may receive this message: The Group Policy client service failed sign-in. The Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) type is not support.

Case 1: The VPN user had this issue after changing the password over VPN. Try to establish the VPN again. Logoff and then try to login again.

Case 2: If only one user has this issue, delete the user profile and then re-login to create a new profile.

Case 3:  Move the machine to a workgroup from domain. Then re-join the domain.
