Case collections of computer Rebooting Randomly Computer rebooting randomly could be software or hardware issues. Here are some cases. Case 1: The client’s computer started rebooting randomly about a week ago, maybe 3 - 4 times per day. If we run clean boot, the Windows runs normal. Finally, we find out he downloaded a new software one week ago. Removing the software fixes the problem. Case 3: Even we run safe Mode, the computer still reboots by itself. It must hardware issue. Run hardware diagnostics software from Dell. It is RAM problem. Case 4: Any failing hardware component in your computer could cause your computer to unexpectedly generate an error or reboot without warning. Check Device Manager for any errors or conflicts.
