Chicago Area Laptop for rent: $35 per day plus $10 for additional day
rental

The SBS is running Default Web Site for RWW and other SharePoint.

On the Web Server Certificate page, click Use a Web server certificate from trusted authority, and then click Browse to locate the certificate.”, we receive “no certificate has been requested for the default web site in internet information services (IIS)” message

Resolution: You encountered problem with installing a trusted SSL certificate from
thawte for the Default Web Site. After receiving the certificate and
running CEICW to install it, the error "no certificate has been requested
for the default web site in internet information services (IIS)" is
received.

If I am off base, please let me know.

The CEICW wizard must see

The Web Server Certificate Wizard of IIS must be left in a pending state
for the CEICW wizard to install the trusted certificate. I understand that
you have already followed the SBS official blog article to install the SSL
certificate. It is OK that you didn't create a temporarily web site. Just
make sure that you have installed the correct certificate to the Default
Web Site.

Here I suggest we use the following steps to verify this:

1. Select the Internet Information Service console within the
Administrative Tools menu.
2. Select the Default Web site.
3. Right mouse-click and select Properties.
4. Select the Directory Security tab.
5. Select the View Certificate be sure that You have a private key that
corresponds to this certificate.

If the certificate has been successfully bound to the Default Web Site,
please access RWW or OWA (https://publicdomainame/remote or
https://publicdomainame/exchange) by using Https and see if SSL actually
works.
