DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error

Cisco 4.0.4 VPN cause the following Blue screen

Symptom: I have a strange problem and would appreciate any information I could get in this regard - My system crashes when connecting to the VPN with Cisco 4.0.4

Here are the steps -
1) Connect to VPN
2) On connection being established, in 5~10 seconds the OS crashes
3) I receive the blue screen stating that "dne2000.sys" as the likely problem and the crash is a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error.

I have tried reinstalling the VPN software, removing all traces of the "dne2000.sys" driver and trying again. The system crashes each time. This behavior can be seen on more than one system.

Resolution: We have got a lot reports regarding this issue. If uninstall the Cisco VPN client and remove dne doesn’t fix the issue, you may want to upgrade the Cisco VPN Client to the V4.6.
