Migration finished but the mailbox doesn't move to Office - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: The client is migrating their mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to Office 365 using Staged migration. Some migration status show Synced, but Total, Synced, Finalized and Failed are 0. However, the Office 365 doesn't show the mailbox and the Details don't have any information.


 

Troubleshooting: Double click on the batch job and then click migration reports. In one of our cases, we see this error: "EmailAddress,ErrorMessage
ss@chicagotech.net,"The user ""ss@chicagotech.net"" is already included in migration batch ""group3."" Please remove the user from any other batch and try again.". The problem is we did it in group3but failed. We need to delete the group3 batch before we can do this batch again.

In another case, "EmailAddress,ErrorMessage ms@chicagotech.net, The source email address ms@chicagotech.net, couldn't be found in the on-premises domain. We use howtonetworking.com as default email address. Changing ms@chicagotech.net to ms@howtonetworking.com fix the problem.
