No more TS licenses are available -
Case Study Q1: I have
windows 2003 server with 5 TS licenses. Server says that it has 5
licenses and 5 have been issued. There 4 permanent desktops in the office
running Windows XP Pro. One user with Windows 2000 laptop can’t connect,
gets error that no more licenses are available the same error appears in
event viewer on the server. If there only 4 desktops connect isn’t there 1
more license left? Maybe I have to install windows XP on the laptop?
A1: Are you using per device CALs?
Perhaps, you should switch to per user CALs.
