 Which port does VNC use

In general, you VNC uses ports 5800 to 5900. To allow the Java VNC Viewer to be served through the firewall, you may open both 5800 and 5900.

Note: using VNC through a SSH or VPN tunnel is more security since the native VNC data stream is not encrypted.
