Can't create DNS zone or transfer DNS in SBS 2003 to Windows 2008 R2 migration

Situation: When migrating SBS 2003 to Windows 2008 R2 domain, the DNS on SBS doesn't transfer to the new Windows 2008 R2 DC and you can't create the DNS zone manually in the Windows 2008 R2.

Troubleshooting: If the DNS is not setup AD-integrated, the DNS zone won't be automatically copied to the new DC. in this case, go to the SBS DNS Manger, select Zone Transfer. Check Allow zone transfer. Wait for 5 minutes or run ipconfig /flushdns and /registerdns on the new server.
