Symptoms: 1. When running "Validate a Configuration" in Failover Clustering, you may receive the following message:
List Network Binding Order
List the order in which networks are bound to the adapters on each node.

An error occurred while executing the test.
The network path was not found.
2. When running "Validate a Configuration" in Failover Clustering, you may receive the following message:
The computer does not have the Failover Clustering feature installed.

 
Resolution:

1. In Windows 2008 Network Connections, press alt key and select Advanced.
2. Select Advanced Settings.
3. Make sure the network connection for failover is on the top. In our example, Local Area Connection should be in the top instead of LAN8.

4. Highlight the Local Area Connection and move it to the top.
