No Virtual Machine were found
ID 14050 - Failed to register service principle name

Situation: We are running Windows 2008 R2 with Hyper-V. I have one 2003 Terminal server running as VM. After changing the host IP and logon use local admin, we lost the VM. I have changed the IP back and re-logon the domain. In the Role>Hyper-V, it says: "No Virtual Machine were found". The Event Viewer has ID 14050 - Failed to register service principle name. I can see the VM folder. How can I recovery it from the VM folder?

Resolution: Check if there is the Virtual Disk available. If it is, you can create a VM using the virtual disk.
