Can't access network or Network Cable Unplugged

Situation: The client is running VMware version 4. One of VMs can't access the network and it shows Network Cable Unplugged.

Troubleshooting: 1. Make sure you you have added the network adapter to the VM.

2. if you do have Network adapter on the VM, make sure it connect to Virtual switch or virtual network adapter as shown below.

3. Make sure you check Connected and Connect at power on.
