Network Cable unplugged

Symptoms: You may receive a notification that a network cable has been unplugged. This message may appear in the lower-right corner of your screen, near the taskbar icon for your network adapter. This message may appear at seemingly random intervals.

Resolutions: 1. if it is direct connection, make sure you use crossover cable.

2. Upgrade the NIC driver.

3. Remove the NIC and install it in a different slot.

4. If is connecting to a router or hub or switch, try a different port.

5. Change the speed or duplex.

6. Disable power management.

7. Try a different NIC.
