Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this page Q: I am currently using Windows XP. Every time I access Internet Explorer, security messages pop up. This prevents me from using several web pages. Microsoft Internet Explorer "Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly " I have tried changing my levels of security from medium to low and high. This hasn't made any difference. The messages still pop up.
