Hardware setting related case:

1. We receive the following error message: “Cannot access folder because the path is too long or deep” when attempting to copy a large files to Windows 2000 server from a XP computer. However, other XP computers don’t have this issue. Resolution: modify NIC Speed and Duplex.

2. Receiving this error “Cannot access folder because the path is too long or deep” when we to copy a large files to some remote servers that are connecting to Cisco switch from any computers. Resolution: modify Cisco Switch speed and duplex. Refer to How to configure Cisco Switch Port speed and duplex
