Situation: The client just purchased a new Laptop and would like transfer Yahoo emails from old PC to the new laptop. However, the old PC was setup using POP3. POP3 is one way syncing emails meaning. Any emails deleted from POP3 don’t delete from the Yahoo. Also, any folders created on Outlook don’t sync to yahoo. if you have many emails in Yahoo takes a long time to sync.
Download yahoo email to Outlook is limited 4GB each time. So, you may close the outlook each time you reach the 4GB limitation. Then restart the Outlook after each sync. The outlook will re-sync another 4GB yahoo email.
The alternative resolution is transferring PST files from old PC to the new Laptop. Note: If the user exports and imports PC email folders to new Laptop, those folders may not sync to Yahoo.
