Can’t connect to wifi after Windows Update

Q: After installing the latest Windows Update, I can’t have the Internet through WiFi.  How can I fix it?

Chicagotech.net: 1. You may want to download and install latest WiFi NIC driver.

2. perform Network Reset: 1) Open Settings app, click Network & Internet > Status > Network reset link. 2) Now click on Reset button on next screen. 3) In confirmation prompt appearing next, click Yes.

3. Re-install the NIC driver: 1) Press WINDOWS + X 2) Click on “Device Manager” 3) Click on “Network card” 4) Right click on your wifi network card 5.)Click on “Uninstall device” 6) Click on “Detects Hardware change” (monitor icon)

4. Try to install system files.

1. Type “cmd” in windows search bar 2. Right click on “Command Prompt” 3. Select “Run as Administrator” 4. Type “sfc /scannow” without quote and press ENTER Then : 1. Type “cmd” in windows search bar 2. Right click on “Command Prompt” 3. Select “Run as Administrator” 4. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth” without quote and press ENTER 5. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth” without quote and press ENTER 6. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth” without quote and press ENTER
