Malwarebytes Installation failed: Failed to open service Control Manager DB. Win32 error code 5 or 1726

Q: When installing Malwarebytes, I get this message: Installation failed: Failed to open service Control Manager DB. Win32 error code 5 or 1726. How do you troubleshooting?

Chicagotech.net: 1. Disabling firewall for a test.

2. disable any security software such as anti virus for a test.

3. Make sure Remote Registry service  is running.

4. Make sure network sharing is enabled.

5. Check WMI on Malwarebytes installation.
