Situation: When attempting to copy some Sony RAW (A1 camera) files from one disk to another disk, you may receive an error message: The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable. If you go to Disk Management, you can see the disk.
Resolution 1: Run chkdsk /R to repair the disk.
Resolution 2: Change disk format from FAT or xeFAT to NTFS.
