Fixing “Your internet access is blocked”

Situation: Computer runs Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge can access to the Internet, but not Chrome with “Your internet access is blocked” error.

Troubleshooting: 1. For a test, turn off firewall.

2. If you use VPN, turn it off. some company VPN block some applications or website.

3. Turn of security software such as anti0virus and anti-malware for a test.

4. Reset modem/router.

5. Network driver issues can be one of the reasons for your blocked internet access. Upgrade or re-install to previous version of NIC driver.

6. Clear The Chrome Cache.

7. Reset Chrome. Some changes in chrome settings may be the reason for your internet access blocked. Try resetting your chrome to fix it. To reset Chrome, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your browser and then click on Settings.

8. Delete Chrome Profile. Possibly deleting the Chrome profile may help to fix ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED. To remove the Chrome profile, you need to end the chrome.exe task from Task Manager.

9. If all above steps don’t fix the problem, you may want to run anti-virus and anti-malware software to check any virus or malware.
